Toptal, Quazzel, Draftandcraft

It has been a while since my last blog post so I thought I would share some of my latest activities.

I have been mostly busy with client work as a rails developer lately and still trying to add the feature of bookable language teachers for my language learning platform . The idea is that teachers can create profiles and offer their services on Quazzel. Students will be able to buy a virtual currency to pay the teachers with and teachers can eventually get a transfer to their bank account for their virtual balance. This scenario has a few quirks and challenges we are still working on to avoid fraud or inconsistencies in the transactions.

I am also trying to improve Draftandcraft and make it accessible to more freelancers. I am expecting to give an update on that soon.

As a part of Toptal I was recently featured with an article about social media APIs, so be sure to check that out if you are interested: Social Network APIs: The Internet's Portal to the Real World

I wish I had more time to pursue my interest in Virtual Reality Applications because after trying out the HTC Vive at a friends house I am definitely hooked and exited about the new possibilities this technology introduces.

Stay tuned for more updates soon :)
